My work is inspired out of an earnest study of how paint can depict an image through light, dark, color harmony and form. But this study would grow tedious if it were not for the unconscious symbols which are revealed to me concerning what I do. That is a symbolism about the truth of God and His salvation. Christ warms my heart as an artist and gives my work a purpose.

The heavens are telling the Glory of God and the firmament proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours fourth speech and night to night declares knowledge.There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard; yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

The Awakening, 18x24
The Awakening here is a bold work depicting the born again soul. As Jesus stated to Nicodemos, one must be born again order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The subject is still clothed in earthly garments. She is not sensual or beautiful, yet she is a woman. One could recognise her as representing someone in the Church of Christ, His Bride. She has a noble, peaceful expression with her eyes closed since she is alive by faith and not by sight.
Secondary Road, 18x24
In this work the sun shining through the clouds is representative of the Light of Christ. The secondary road is the road in which the riders enter into a harmonious relationship with Him and assend upards on their journey.
